Aligning With Soul Purpose and Divine Will by Raymond Wolf
Most of us at some point or at many points in our lives ask what is the meaning and purpose of my life? Such questions show up in small and big ways. They range from, what do I want to do next, to shall I take this job. Each of us will use all of our resources, knowledge, and attributes to answer the questions as we constantly make choices to navigate our way through life. We search for the surest, truest means on which to base our decisions, sometimes following our feelings, our beliefs, or our religion. All contribute to that inward seeking to know. For those who believe in a Source or Soul we ask, What is my soul purpose in this life? Or What is God's Will in relationship to my will? Is Divine Will a plan decreed from God for the universe to follow? Is Divine Will the mind of God laid out in such perfection for the highest, most joyous, expression of all creation? Is Divine Will the following of this plan? And if so, how is my will separated from Divine Will? Can you be separate? Can God's plan or God's Will go astray? How does God's Will allow for your free will within His Divine Plan? Will, power, and knowledge are all closely linked in our seeking for answers. "Source" was the ultimate crown of authority, which has been stepped down in various forms from God to religion, government, an institution, or parent. Everyone in their own way turns to a source which they feel is more powerful, more intelligent than themselves in hopes of obtaining some answers. Throughout the ages many of those who have been empowered have used fear in one way or another to keep themselves in a position of power, undermining others' opportunity to create their life to the fullest. God, as you have heard, proclaimed Himself to be a loving God, and not a God of wrath. This thought has been echoing across our planet for two thousand years now. Many of our fundamental beliefs are challenged as the world view of a God of Wrath based upon the idea of scarcity moves to a world view of a God of Love based upon peaceful co-operation and abundance. Our power, will and fulfillment was linked to a power outside of ourselves, and misfortune awaited those who defied a higher authority. Beliefs such as; there can be abundance for all, and each person can live to their fullest and at the same time honor all others, empowers the individual and his/her personal connection to Divine Will. These are reflections of our beliefs about man's relationship to Source, and how our will was separated from or connected to God. As an earthly father and mother give body to their child, it is their intention and hope that the child grows up to be completely him/herself; to follow their joys, to make the choices in career, in mate, in living which will bring them the greatest joy. It is the same with God. God gave us life, and it is with the hope that each of us will manifest the glory, the beauty, the truth that we are. This is God's Will. It is not God's Will that we be punished for our mistakes, such as not being able to perceive, or hear, or follow that which may have been conveyed. It is by turning inward and following our joy that we may follow and know our soul purpose in life, and be in alignment with God's Will for our being in the moment. For whether or not you believe in a soul or a Source, that which brings you your greatest fulfillment is the most gratifying way to live. Each of us are divinely unique. Some are desiring to play music, some to build, some work with nature, some are in the sciences, and others are teachers. Each is born with gifts and purposes which contribute to the whole, which make our civilization possible. With the gifts come our lessons and opportunities in life, and with our lessons and challenges come our growth. Earth is a school where we consciously learn to co-create ourselves, and rediscover our true multidimensional nature. Someone's soul purpose may be joy. The blessings, opportunities, and challenges for the incarnating being are to find the ways which s/he may create joy in her his life. S/he finds those means in both the small and big ways. In may be as simple as taking a moment to enjoy a bouquet of flowers, a child playing, or the satisfaction in a job well done. It may be the joy of helping another, or the appreciation of being helped. All these opportunities are presented in life to manifest the potential of the joy within us. By manifesting this joy within our lives we touch upon this attribute of God's being. It is said that Source is Satchitananda; Truth, Consciousness and Bliss. Source is also many other attributes such as Beauty, Faith, Grace, Divine Mind, Peace, Will, Love, and Wisdom to name a few. Each soul and each individual with find their purpose along one or many of these attributes in any given lifetime. As each comes to live in harmony with their soul purpose they bring forth a three fold development; their own lives become filled, they contribute to others, and they manifest aspects of the Absolute in their own unique way. Our lives become a blessing. It is by tuning in to your heart that you may know what is right for you in the moment. Then by making conscious decisions which support your inner knowing you may begin to bring forth your purpose, that which brings you joy in your everyday living. Know that which you pursue in your heart for your highest good is the Will of God. That which is joyous, that which is in harmony with self and other is in alignment with Divine Will. Divine will does not say, You brush your teeth. Divine Will says, Create your life as the divine beings that you are. It is God's Will that each has been endowed with an essence of His being, and that the highest joys, love, levels of creativity are indeed what we are. It is God's Will that we would live and create in harmony with the essence that we are.
