The Maha Cohan

The homes, retreats and council halls of the teachers and guides of the race are established all over the world. For the most part they are situated upon the etheric planes of existence, and, until 1952, not accessible to most members of humanity. On Thanksgiving Day of 1952, Sanat Kumara, the Lord of the World at that time, advised that these retreats be permanently opened to everyone, unascended and ascended alike. Many members of humanity are now enabled, through spiritual invitation, to make their way to these retreats in consciousness, during sleep states and in meditation.

In these retreats we are in the company of the elect, and may absorb the strength, beauty, wisdom and understanding that is a part of the radiation of each. Returning to our own bodies, we are filled with the light of truth, and charged with the strength to better fulfill our individual destiny, as well as becoming intelligent co-workers with the Masters who reside there.

Off the southern tip of India, near the Bay of Bengal and surrounded by the blue waters of the Indian Ocean, lies Sri

Lanka, formerly known as the Island of Ceylon. On this island is located one of the ancient retreats of the eastern world, the home and dwelling place of the beloved Maha Chohan, Holy Comforter to the hearts of angels, men and elementals alike. Sri Lanka is the site of a large tea plantation, owned and governed by a wealthy "Indian Potentate" who sometimes visits his "holdings," and who is (to all intent and purpose) a member of the human race. On the property is a green, mound shaped promontory, below which is located the Temple of Holy Comfort.

The temple is not only a spiritual sanctuary, but also a physical place of rest and respite for those privileged to be invited to enter its sacred portals. Within the large council chamber in the temple is the actual focus of the Comfort Flame. This Flame forms a focus for the radiation of comfort from the Holy Spirit to all evolutions, elementals, human and angels.

Comfort to most members of humanity means freedom from distress. Comfort to the conscious student means knowledge of how to control energy, both within and without the self. It means bringing harmony where in-harmony exists, beauty where distortion exists, healing where disease exists and peace where discord currently exists. Comfort is the capacity to control first, the small personal aura, no matter what the internal or external provocation and second, to control those energies that create shadows on the screen of life. The Master Jesus was trained in this temple; so was Saint Francis of Assisi.

If any reader should feel inclined towards an association with the Temple of Comfort, he or she should spend at least thirty days endeavoring to increase the amount of comfort they can bring to others. This includes their homes, families, fellow beings and countrymen, elemental kingdom, nature kingdom, plant life and, of course, first and foremost to their Divine Presence within. At the end of this thirty-day period they will be called before the Maha Chohan in their inner consciousness to see if they qualify for further training.

The primary function of the office of the Maha Chohan is to be the Representative of the Cosmic Holy Spirit to this planet. He is held personally responsible by the Holy Spirit for all energy dispensed to this planet, and must render an accounting for the uses of every electron. In turn every member of mankind is held responsible to the Maha Chohan for its use of energy.

It is the Holy Spirit Who brings comfort to every evolving kingdom, and it is the Maha Chohan who acts as liaison between the Holy Spirit and evolving kingdoms, making this potent source of energy available to all. The Seven rays are the facets through which God's Will, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, are externalized in the world of form. Each Ray carries a particular strength and vitality of the Third Person of the Trinity, and it is the Maha Chohan who orchestrates the outpouring of strength and vitality from the rays, depending upon the needs of the moment.

The Maha Chohan is concerned with fostering and strengthening the relationship between spirit and matter, life and death, the self and the not-self, which results in what is called "civilization." He manipulates the forces of nature and is the principle source of all electrical energy, as we know it.

It is he who stands beside the mother at every birth and gives the first rhythmic pulsation of breath to every individual born upon the planet, and it is he who receives the last breath of every person when they depart at the completion of that incarnation. As amazing as it sounds, this last breath received by the Maha Chohan is held in his safe keeping all during the time we are out of incarnation, and them returned to us at the beginning of the next one. And this, we remind you, he does for all nine billion souls in and out of incarnation!

One of the responsibilities dearest to his heart, he tells us, is the care, protection and training of elemental and devic life, including those serving in all three kingdoms. Those tiny elementals embodying the blossoms of plants, the fragrance of roses, the life of delicate flowers, all turn to him for succor and encouragement. Those powerful elementals in charge of our physical bodies have, on more than one occasion rebelled against humanity because of our devious use of life energy. When this happens the Maha Chohan usually takes them aside and soothes their hurt feelings, with the promise that this is only a temporary situation.

The Way Of The Heart

What is the way of the heart?

The trees of Autumn know:

Each one speaks to me

in its native tongue

as I walk among them

brushing against boughs and branches

draped in the melancholy

robes of the season.

Each day they slip more and more

into the silence of their essential nakedness.

Each one reflects my knowing.

Still, I lean on them or

touch them with my bare hands

and ask these questions over and over:

What is it that comes to us when we love?

What do we shed from ourselves

when we love?

Each tree casting off the glittery light of self

exposes a perfect rawness

and whispers gently to me...

Your knowing is the nature of love.

Heart Soliloquy

Its flame struck the darkness

in a soliloquy of light ~

A perfect ring of color

wedded the heavens and

consumed the fire of itself.

It lasted only seconds,

but in that sacred time

the mystery came pouring

into my hungry heart!

Quiet Still Voice Within You

 The age old questions, Who are we and what is the purpose of life? We have many psychological, religious, and spiritual models attempting to answer those questions. There are two fundamental statements that help to answer them. One is: I am That I Am. The other: To be or not to be.

Psychology has familiarized us the with idea of the ego and the personality. We have an ego, and this ego is composed of or perhaps surrounded by many subpersonalities. Spiritualist studies have given us the soul, the Divine I Am Presence, the Monad, and more. Religions and theologies have given us The One Source, God, who is the source of All That Is.

It is my understanding that through the mystical means of creation God created what could be called a hierarchalical stepping down from the divine to the material. The the Rays were birthed from the Union of God Father and God Mother, and have been called God's chakras. Upon those Rays are millions of individual lives. Perhaps we could call these lives the monads. These lives are highly creative, eternal consciousnesses, a chip off the old block. The hierarchal structure is much more complicated than this model, of personality, soul, Divine I Am, Monad, Rays, and God. I'm just using a simple model to describe our own personal relationship to divinity.

As a physical representation, not a literal interpretation, I like to think of a monad as being like our physical sun. Around our sun are planets, souls, and upon the planets are our personal lives. God would be the universe, and as radiant as all the suns combined. From a personality point of view, experiencing the sun can seem like you have seen God, and from one perspective you have, for you have met the you that created you, and the you that you are on another level of being.

In trying to comprehend the vastness of the capabilities and the nature of the types of consciousnesses which monads may be, I use an analogy. I ask myself how evolved would a consciousness be who's physical body is the sun; lives millions of years, supports a solar system the way a parent supports a child, and sends solar flares light years when it is getting emotionally excited? How advanced is a soul who uses the principles of Quantum mechanics the way our scientists have applied Newtonian physics?

Through some amazing holographic technology, which is also present in our physical universe in light and at the molecular level, an image of the whole is contained within a fragment, and from a fragment the whole can be created.

So it is with monads and God, God became many and yet remains whole, and within each monad and personality you can find God. This is perhaps the kind of theoretical principle which reveals how consciousness can individuate and be one at the same time.

However God needed to or desired to interact with humanity, and thus the very human personality aspects of humanity. Needless to say when you stand in the presence of your monad let alone God, the energy and the light is a bit overwhelming to the waking consciousness. According to one account of Jesus' ascension, people had to cover their eyes because the light was so bright. Mankind throughout history when confronted with divinity has mystified it, deified it, run away from it, and denied it. Only a few have realized, this is who and what I am beyond my physical existence.

God is causeless. God is all the absolute divine attributes of power, wisdom, love, and intelligence. Where do you go from there?

In a manner of speaking, God has a problem. He can't reveal himself to humanity directly because of His blinding light and awesome radiance. His body is the Light. When He did, humanity started killing animals, offering human sacrifice, and other rituals, to invoke His benevolence. This wasn't the exact response God was hoping for. Rumor has it, God cares for His entire creation.

God is a resourceful presence, and devised a new plan which he hoped would solve some problems. He would reveal Himself within each, as each. When humanity realized each individual was a divine spark of God, then humanity would stop deifying the supernatural, stop killing each other thinking one was superior to the other with the realization that each were equal in their divine nature. God was going to put that fancy holographic technology to work. This way, we could get on with His divine plan, which once again hadn't been going exactly the way God hoped for.

So here it is: your part in the plan; well at least part of the plan:

From Love Without End: Jesus Speaks

"Jesus: You are an expansion point of God's infinity, and the viewpoint from which you perceive infinity is your heart. The heart is your gift from God. It is your eternal bond with the Father."

"Glenda: I thought for a moment and then asked, "Were we not originally one? From the viewpoint of the One, is there not already infinity? Why was anything more needed?

"Jesus: If you had a radio with one speaker and mono-dimensional sound, even though it was perfect and infinite sound, would you not prefer it to be stereophonic? The Holy Father, the Source of Infinity, is indeed One and the One Infinity. Nevertheless, His greatness extends beyond that to generate what might be called stereophonic infinity.

"That was accomplished through His children! You see, the singular infinity of the Father precedes the children, but together with His children is the living essence of a stereophonic universe. Without the children, there could not be stereophonic existence - a phenomenon which is created by attaching the principle of infinity to an infinite number of viewpoints! You are thus the richness of the universe, the depth and completion of it all. It is so important that you respect your individuality and the self-awareness that you possess. From that self-awareness, you derive your capacity for thought and imagination. Contained within it is your right to be an additional source for infinity and creation. Without self-awareness, you would merely be a conduit, unconsciously responding to preordained conditions. Self-awareness is the ignition which sparks your ability to be a secondary source of infinity. Within that infinity, you will provide dimensions for expanded existence. The universe is a partnership, wherein the Creator my have rest and the Created may have freedom! It is a relationship which you also can experience symphonically with others by seeing the eyes of the Father when you look into the eyes of your brother. As you do that, you are extending the symphonic richness of infinity."

There is so much said in the above. The words, "You are made in God's image" have profound meaning. You are That, and through that holographic technology you eventually will be an unlimited Source. We are to honor our fellow humans as the divinity which they are, and much more.

The externalization of God in the past lead to fear. In part Jesus came to preach of a loving God. Jesus could raise the dead, heal the sick, all powerful acts, yet he never lifted a finger to defend himself from his persecutors. Why? To model a loving God Father. Power, the awesome power that God is, and that divine presence within each, is not to be used for destructive purposes. Intelligent use of Power is manifested as Love Wisdom. Each step we take towards knowing our divinity and empowerment must be balanced by knowing how to manifest for the good of all.

You have to go inward to find God. We wish He would materialize externally so we know it is Him and not some trick of our mind. Going around saying you hear God can end you up on prozac. Discernment is necessary to discriminate between a religious ego, and a voice which can guide you to your divinity.

The journey is inward. That voice will be heard uniquely by each according to what is right for them. I hope I can learn to recognize that voice within myself, and to hear It when It speaks through others.

From my I Am Presence in 1997:

"Now I will make myself more known to your waking consciousness. I Am that I Am that you have been searching for, for what seems like an eternity to you. Your four bodies are vehicles for my exploration of my beingness. This is how it was intended. I am the eternal light of your being, and I bring you these truths about my being, and your manifestation as the light of your being. I am that I Am.

"Now once again let me pour my light and love into your being. Now repeat after me. I am the light now, I always have been, and I always will be. Imagine as you do this a divine stream of gold, white, and silver light pouring into your being.

"I will do my best to give you the experience of the Godhead in the physical, to the best of our ability together to bring the light fully into your third dimensional experience of your being. For this indeed is your birth right as a human incarnated upon your third plane, to raise the vibration of your being while simultaneously experiencing a physical body. There is no reason why you cannot accomplish this once you set your heart and mind on doing so. All your bodies and the universe will rush forward to help you realize this most divine goal and accomplishment for all of humanity and the earth.

"Many wish to know the peace and joy, and to return to the joyful expression of the Godhead in form. You are building the new society built upon love and trust of the Creator within your being, and honoring all life and all beings as the unique expression of the Godhead.

"Many wish to end their suffering: many can sense that their lives are empty of something very special. Some very special connection that is missing, that their hearts are striving to bring forth in their lives once again. This is of course Me, (the divine I Am), for I am in each of you, as you.

"I bring Myself forth as the Divine Creator, infinite love and compassion, and the truth that I Am: the I, the universal I that thinks all, that experiences all that is. I exist in each and everyone of you, and in all life. In the beating of your hearts, in this sounding of the earth and sun. The tonal resonance that has been called the music of the spheres.

"This tone is alive, vibrating with a universal signature that is my unique expression as the many, which emanates from the core of my central being, that which you call the Central Sun. This core place, the universal center, which the universes rotate around, emanates all sound currents, light waves, and love vibrations that are capable of manifesting in all the wondrous diversity of life that you perceive, and oh, so much more. This you know and remember in your death state and your dreaming states. I Am that I Am.

"You perceive my voice quite clearly, yet at times you have doubts. Do you wish for me to boom my voice? Listen carefully. This is the quiet still voice within you. There is a reason for my quite still voice, and for your attention to focus in this way. Indeed I can sound the trumpets, and strike the lighting, and it has been done in that way before.

"So why not now, so you know it is the Source of your being, and not the some trick of your mind? How are you to know it is Me, and not some trick of your personality? All people ask this question of Me. It is simple, for you to know that I am you. There never was any separation between you and I. There never has been another, except Me creating myself over and over again. Nothing but Me, the Eternal One creating all, through each of you. I dreamed you in my beingness. I longed to give birth to all that is within Me. I am the love and the sound, and I am Life.

"Yet you know me not in your earthly plane, for you do not listen anymore with your open hearts and minds. It is simply a game on one level, but one which has brought you much suffering. I cannot suffer, yet I can experience your suffering. Does that make sense to you? I am eternal, without limits, without end. So are you. Yet in this limitation, you experience what I can only call not mine or your true being.

"This is okay. It is part of our learning, part of expression. But you wish to wake up and know the truth. You have in very literal terms had enough of this game, and wish to get on with creating a divine reflection and expression of your being. I am here to help all of you do so. All of you that call upon Me will receive Me. This is a promise that I have made to each of you over and over again through the many masters and teachers who have remembered Me, remembered themselves as the Divine One incarnated in form.

"I bless the holy ones, as they are the way showers for each of you, as you are the way showers for others. Now let us end this session for the time being, but remember I am here with you always. There is nothing but Me, nowhere to go that you don't find My infinite love, My infinite joy, and desire for each of you to know yourselves as the divine creators that you are; my sons and daughters in spirit, in mind, and in embodiment."

Who am I? I am That. What is the purpose of life? To be and manifest the infinite divine expression of God that we are. To be, for without our unique contribution to All That Is, All That Is misses the joy and wonder that you bring to life.
