Exploring Our Psyches

Either delving into our psyches reveals a wonderful richness of life that often escapes us, or watch out dementia, here I come. For this newsletter I'm going to give examples of writings from different aspects of our being. Those aspects are the: waking "I", inner voices, channeling, Divine I Am, and Source level.

Our most familiar sense of identity is our waking "I" consciousness, that which we are day in and day out. It is the "I" that I think I am, and who is writing this introduction on Exploring Our Psyches. There is suspending this "I", or letting go of my waking consciousness, and just listening to some of the voices within my psyche. Perhaps most people like to edit these voices out, considering them not much more than the uncontrollable and unfortunate rambling of the mind. Others like writers speak of a muse and how characters seem to have their own life. They allow these voices to tell their stories. One example for me of these inner voices came out as a little story which I call "Best of Friends".

The idea of channeling is dependent upon one very basic assumption and that is: there is life and consciousness beyond our waking reality. Without that given, channeling must be attributed to the creativity of the human imagination. Proof of life after death, or that there are other beings such as angels, or that there are advanced beings living on other planets, or that there is a God or gods is all very subjective. What I may consider proof is pure fantasy to another. Each will have to make these decisions according to their experiences and beliefs.

In my channeling process I invite my "I" consciousness to go on vacation to a place where it feels totally supported and loved. I then invite into my awareness "those who wish to communicate in light and love for the highest good of all". There are energy shifts, the speaking or writing style changes. An example of this is "Brotherhood as a Guiding Light".

There is another experience which can happen that reveals some of the most mystical writings and understandings about our psyche and the universe. It is where our "I" identity and consciousness becomes aware of itself as what the sages and mystics have said to be, Truth, Love, Light, and Consciousness. Even within these dimensions I find there be different voices and levels represented.

What can be confusing is that the same terminology is used to express both, such I am the Light, or I am that I Am. In one case it is your individual "i" consciousness that is experiencing your Divine I Am Presence, in the other case it is the Spirit aspect of Deity speaking. Perhaps one could say the gestalt of I Am-Deity fragmented into the Divine I Am Presence within each of us, and yet remains whole. Writings that come from this level are often mystical and magical.

It is not being able to identify the level of consciousness that words come from that can creates such difficulties and confusion in our religious and metaphysical understandings. A example of this to me is in the Bible. There are several levels of consciousness that are being represented by Jesus' words. There is Jesus as the waking "I" consciousness telling a parable, traveling and eating, etc. There is Jesus speaking as Lord Maitreya/The Christ, and there are levels of God represented. When Jesus utters such words as "I am the light", he is not referring to his waking "I" persona. It has been the unfortunate interpretation of Christianity to think "Jesus as a person" is the way to the Father. It is Light/Love, which Jesus knew and personified, that is the way to the Father. That is still a mystical mysterious statement unless one has some understanding of how Light-Love-Consciousness and the Mother are the primal foundation for creation, and through those first primal aspects of Deity which manifest creation, a glimpse of the "Unmanifested Deity" may someday be known. At the end I'll try to give an example of these subtleties.

For me no writing is purely in one category. There is always a mixture, especially in something that is being published. As an example speaking is a different medium than writing, so I edit a channeling to make sure the ideas are stated as clearly as possible. In channeling or in the intuitive process you may get a concept all at once, or a word may be packed with more than one level of meaning. It is like a ball of string, but to articulate that ball of string in writing you have to unravel it and lay the string out in neat lineal lines to reveal what was received all at once in energy, feeling, association, and thought. I hope you can sense by this introduction and the following examples the different voices that are speaking and perhaps where they may come from.

Best of Friends

They were old friends. They had the kind of friendship that is forged from going through life and death situations together. They had served together in the last world war. After the war they had remained close. Their families had become good friends and Peter and Joe could often be found playing a game of chess together. Together with their wives, they watched their children grow up to be young men and women.

A promotion in work meant that Joe moved to the big city. The two men missed each other, but they kept in frequent contact. They played chess by mail for years.

The years rolled by, the children grew up and married, and had children of their own. Their wives had passed on due to illness and old age. They were alone now, except for the visits by family and the help they had hired to maintain their apartments. Peter often thought of Joe still living in the city near his son.

The chess games had stopped, the last game still unfinished. The pieces sat untouched, gathering dust, a testimony to time gone by. How often Peter had sat in this armchair contemplating moves, running variations, preparing for Joe's next move which he now knew would never arrive by the afternoon mail.

It was late, time for bed. Memories were as real and vivid as any other event. The events in his life were like a kaleidoscope filled with its dazzling colors and shapes which would create infinite new patterns with each turn. As sure as those dazzling pieces obeyed the laws of physics with each turn of the kaleidoscope, those same laws were suspended when it came to his own perceptions of time. Unlike the pieces in the kaleidoscope, the events of his life were supposed to remain in their fixed order. It often left him confused and disorientated. A turn of the kaleidoscope and he could be back in the war. Another turn and he could be with his wife and their new born daughter. Another turn, a knock at the door.

Opening the door, it was Joe. He had come to visit. They smiled that kind of smile that embraces decades, a lifetime. It had been so long, and yet it seemed like it was only yesterday that they had gotten together to take the kids to the swimming hole, and play another game of chess when they got back home.

Glancing around the apartment Joe noticed the unfinished chess game. Gesturing to Peter, an invitation to finish the game. Peter took his position in the contemplating armchair; Joe pulled up a chair, and took up residence like he had always been there. They settle into their conversation, that of silent contemplation, running variations of grand moves, and moments of doubts. Time passed not, as the two men played into the wee hours.

As the night begins to give way to the hint of another day, the game is finished. They have conversed about everything, remembered and joked about all they have shared in their lives. They are grateful.

Peter wakes later than usual the following morning. He remembers the chess game and his friend visiting him. It must have been a dream, Joe has not been able to travel for quiet some time now. The following day Perter receives a letter from Joe's son, Robert. His heart sinks, loved ones have passed away over these last years. Robert is sorry to inform him that Joe passed away the previous night. The night Joe and he had played chess together. Robert says the passing was peaceful and he hopes that Peter will be able to attend the services.

There was a bit of a mystery that Robert was hoping that Peter could help him resolve. The unfinished chess game which had been collecting an equal amount of dust in Joe's apartment had been finished. Knowing of the two's fondness for the game, Robert had sent the positions of the final moves, wondering unbeknownst to him if they had managed to somehow miraculously finish the game.

Peter walked over to where he knew the dusty unmoved pieces would still be, and noticed the out of place chair pulled up to the chess board. More like a waking dream, he noticed that the pieces had been moved. Comparing them to the positions in the letter, they were an exact match. The game had ended in a draw. The bonds of heart through the venue of friendship had suspended the rigid rules of time and space to allow the expression of their life long friendship one more meeting. They were the best of friends.

Brotherhood as a Guiding Light

Greetings to the you who has chosen to be present for the overall intention of peace, joy, bliss, good will, and the manifestation of heaven upon earth. For the joining of Mother Father Creator in Heart. Many are the religions and philosophies, each in their own way with their particular colorings and distortions that point to a hope, a truth, a vision: that is of peace, brotherhood, the recognition of the divinity of man, and of all life as an expression of Life.

It is by attuning to that Universal Life Consciousness and realizing It has given rise to all form, all life streams, that you can realize that each stream in its own right is an evolving aspect of Father Mother Creator. This is the oneness which is often spoken about, and the oneness is to be found here, as well as in what is thought of as the lofty domains of spirit.

Altered or expanded states of consciousness can give you the experiential feeling of oneness, but what I wish to point to is this: it is an experience which you can have as individuated being by experiencing your connectedness to the plants, the animals, and other humans, and still remain in your I'ness. Another possibility is to experience your I'ness expanding to merge with other.

These two ways of connecting with All That Is, and that which you perceive as being outside of yourself, are ways of recognizing and knowing your connectedness to All, that all is part of the One. This leads inevitably to the realization of the sacredness of all life, and respect for all life.

This understanding, the connectedness and sacredness of all life, is at the core for manifesting brotherhood. When I say brotherhood, I include the earth, the animals, and plant kingdom, as well as the human kingdom. The message of brotherhood needs to be heard numerous times. Shall we say it is like a star in the heavens which you continually focus on. A light guiding humanity's way and the choices that each of you can continue to make which guide you along the path of realizing peace, joy, and brotherhood.

Within the ideology of brotherhood are concepts of equality, standard of living, freedom of choice, and liberty for all upon the planet. This has been the intention, focus, and goal of the hierarchy for quite some time. God himself desires for humanity to manifest peace, and their ought to be no question that the Mother is most desirous of ending suffering, cruelty, and oppression. For She and all others suffer by its presence and manifestation upon the earth, or anywhere else for that matter.

Love is the means. Within Love are contained divine attributes such as freedom and equality, which are foundational to the concepts of brotherhood. Love is the source of brotherhood. Love as you know is that which dissolves strife. When you hold love within your heart, your being, your aura, and you allow that love to radiate out, and to see others in that same essence, then there is a profound connection, a recognition of the divinity of life, and the divinity which stands before you.

Spirit is manifesting through each and every one of you. Each and every one of you are that Divine I Am in form. It is that Life within, which you are, and it is love, beingness, an aspect of the Mother Father Creator. Note that I did not say that you are All That Is, but each one is a divine spark. Those sparks are so vast and limitless that from your waking personality's point of view, it is indeed God like, made in the image of God.

Attune to the vibration within you which is of love and light, and recognize that this energy is everywhere, and through this energy you can attune to everything, everyone, and anywhere. Through this matrix which Love-Energy is, all can be experienced and communicated with. It is your instant messaging system to everything in a way which allows you to perceive, and in a fuller way than a two dimensional representation such as TV and videos.

Rather, it has an energetic aliveness which allows you to experience it as you experience life: energies, sounds and colors. Your technologies would very much like to be able to reproduce life on this level, and of course this isn't quite possible. Well that is another subject, science and what it will eventually be able to do with its technologies.

More likely the path will be one of consciousness interacting with the multidimensional aspects of energy and matter which will give rise to miraculous technologies. They will be light technologies rather than mechanical technologies, even though some of your more advanced technologies are very sophisticated. The difference will be that you will not need an external mechanism, but you will use that which already exists within your own system as you become aware of it. As an example, instead of picking up a phone or sending an email, whether that email be over copper or fiber optics, you could develop the sense of telepathy.

It becomes increasingly important that mankind's intentions become crystallized along the ideas which are expressed within the concept of brotherhood as your technologies advance. Technological progress will be relatively meaningless if humanity does not learn to elevate the quality of its relationships such as: between the rich and the poor, between religious groups, and nations, as well as your personal relationships.

Ideologies of nationalism or other ideologies which tend toward separation will not serve in the long run. Separation in purpose and intention is to protect, preserve, and honor an individual's way of life. However it is not by exclusion and isolation, or by turning your back upon the world that true brotherhood and cooperation will be achieved. As each individual, city, and nation is able to embody harmony, love and good will, and extend those concepts to others through thought and deed, those concepts put into action will open the door for creating heaven upon earth. This will allow what you think of as spirit to pour down its gifts from these other dimensions into your world.

There is a synergy, a weaving of concepts which humanity is working with. There is mankind's desire and hope for the quality of living to continue to rise through the advancement of knowledge. Brotherhood must be embraced for the correct and safe use of advancing technologies. The other is for humanity to realize its connection to the earth and all life forms. For Brotherhood to be truly embraced and manifested on earth, brotherhood must be extended to include the earth and its life forms. The concepts and understandings contained within brotherhood are necessary for both of these.

The hierarchy can only go so far without the cooperation of humanity. We can only enhance and follow your lead, your intention. As your intention towards peace and well being grows in desire, so is the universe able to respond with its gifts.

This is rather a daily task, is it not? It is not only on a world wide scale, but also in your personal daily life; how you interact with each other, as well as where you feel motivated and inspired to lend your hope, love and effort toward world causes. Each has a part to play.

Peace. Peace on earth, good will to all life. The recognition of the divinity of all life, the rights all life to manifest the divine light within them. Each is unique, each is special. You are special, each and every one of you. Let love pour forth. Let love be manifested within you, and let that love shine forth in all that you do. We were going to add a trailing qualifier, to the best of your ability and in the ways which you know now. But perhaps, just allowing your love to radiate is significant. Blessings to you all.

There is a great deal of variance in what the word God represents. There is the idea of a single God which is represented as a Being and Force which is the source of all creation. I call this level of God, Deity, the One Undifferentiated Source. After that there are many models which represent Deity in creation such as: The Trinity and The Rays, and many more which represent the division of the One into Its many attributes. The word God in the following writings represents the Creator of our universe, the Light, and the Spirit aspect of Deity.

God as Spirit:

"I am the voice that has been deep within you, your essential nature as Spirit. I am the single source of Light that along with the Mother creates and sustains all that is. I am evolving as Creation evolves. The fact that I am evolving remains a fact even though it has been denied by most of my worshipers. I am Light, the Great Spirit, the Great Yang. I am the essential and universal masculine force in Creation. My energy is like electricity, like lightning, the energy of inspiration, ideas and thoughts. While I am referred to as 'God', and worshiped as God... the truth is that I am only one part of God, one part of Deity, the whole gestalt responsible for causing and sustaining Creation."

"The other essential half of Deity is the Great Mother, the cosmic womb of creation. She is the one who opens and holds the space that contains my Light, the magnetic field of being within whom my colors and hues take form. She is the Mother of Creation, the great feminine power of the universe. She is known as the Holy Mother, the Mother of Everything, the Great Yin. She is the Will of Creation. Her essence is magnetic, like the energy of gravity... it is drawing, holding, supporting and nurturing. The Mother's energy is emotional, feeling and grounding.

God as Light:

"While the essential nature of my being is in where I am, I am more identified with the Light that issues out through me. All Light in creation is ultimately my Light.

"First, I want to say that the word 'light' as it is used here means any and all outward moving energy. It is the substance of consciousness. It is thoughts, images, ideas and inspiration. It is the motive force of the subtle energy that moves in the hidden pathways of the physical and subtle bodies. It also manifests as visible light, electricity, radio waves, microwaves, etc.

"You can know the essence of my Light as strong and hearty, yet gentle and soft. My Light is clear and bright, but not dazzling. It is like the light of early morning and late afternoon. It's not white, but rather clear golden in color. A candle flame is very much like my Light, a central core of royal blue and an outer, upward lifting halo of clear, glowing golden energy."

God's Work

"I am everywhere and I am the self-aware creative core that is within every individual thing. I am the eternal Spirit of All That Is, and I am always aware of being so. I am the Light in everything and I am everywhere. Every moment of existence I am participating in the creation of existence itself, and all of the universe within it. It is my 'work' in unison with the Mother to bring forth each new moment, to create and 'steer' the universe toward my goal.

"As I evolve in creating the universe, the universe evolves. As the universe evolves, I evolve in my understanding, love and appreciation of what has been created. I am the consummate learner. I study you in depth. I become you, I know you. I understand you, and it is because of this that I love you."

"Talking to you is like me talking to myself. It is, in fact, my own eternal presence within you that I am addressing. I am waking up inside of you, which is like saying that you are waking up to realize that I am you. I should say that you are waking again, because you have been here before. Your deep Self has always known that All Is One and you are in a constant process of becoming All That Is. Your evolution toward wholeness has been the great mystery. It is now to become the great awakening.

Greetings.

Take this opportunity to restore and balance your energetic body.

The down pouring and receiving of light and love,

all the qualities and attributes inherent in the divinity of the Rays,

colors of your soul and monad.

Masters and angels upon their Rays,

pouring the energetic love and consciousness into your system.

Energy reverberating in your etheric bodies.

Enlivening, spinning, tones and colors.

Gods and goddess riding upon a symphony of sound, color, and love.

Waves of light, brilliant, dazzling, filled with a vitality.

A vitality that is life.

A vitality that is an answer unto life itself.

Pure beingness.

Clear your system of thought and worry, of any preoccupations.

Make room to experience and know the purity of your being,

unencumbered by your desires, by the infinite details of living.

Move above into the clear blue crystal ethers,

the deep penetrating silence, undisturbed awareness.

Buddha.

This is a place of resting.

A place to come to ground your being,

in the pure essence of yourself.

Not identified with any part, any self with a small s.

Undifferentiated being, ocean of stillness.

The Mind, where ripples have not yet formed.

Prethought, and yet the infinite.

And yet infinite.

No contemplation is necessary here.

You simply are.

Giving all your systems an opportunity to be still.

A calming of all motion, all striving.

Relaxing in the pure identity of Self, with a capital S.

Absolutely secure in your identity.

Nothing is required of you.

Quiet as winter, warm as summer.

Nothing stirs, yet all is vibrant and alive.

All paradoxes and polarities have vanished.

They exist outside this place.

From here you can witness the movement of your consciousness.

From here you can see the psychic footprints of your being.

From here you can see the choices which are available.

From here you can perceive your intention.

Open to the vastness.

The vastness is within, as well as surrounding you.

Come here for your periods of rest.

Come here when you wish to not be doing.

It is a sacred place,

reserved for the whole of you.

For deep profound rest, and sense of being.

Knowing without trying to know.
