Embodying Love

Embodying love; what does that mean, and what is its potential for you as individuals, as a race, and for the planet?

Choosing to embody Love and allowing Love its voice within you, is a joining between the individual and that which Love is, or what might be expressed as the archetype Love.

Archetypes are not impersonal versions of the attribute-force-consciousness they are associated with. They are much more, and archetypes are dimly realized for what they are. They are hinted at by your civilizations, cultures, and mythologies, but they are rarely directly experienced.

The consciousnesses of archetypes are very different than what you imagine from your waking consciousness' point of view. When you do touch upon archetypes, their full force or full cosmic being has been portioned out for you. Their energy and vastness is downsized in order not to be overly frightening or intimidating to you. You are usually very surprised by the contact, or don't recognize them for what they are. When archetypes are more directly experienced, it is more along the lines of revelation to you.

Embodying Love or the awakening of Love within you happens bit by bit. Each time you are able, through your own conscious efforts and choices, to align with Love and to embody a bit more of Love, it is as if you are building or filling a reservoir of Love within you. As that builds, you develop more and more capacity to experience the energy and essence of Love, and that which is contained within Love. And of course, Love will find a unique expression within each of you.

For some those experiences may come through the ways you commonly understand Love, such as humanitarian efforts and compassion, or love for a child. You may find a bit of unconditional love in your parenting for the new born infant. However, as you know, that unconditional love may be greatly tested as the years go by.

Love is a force, a consciousness, an energy, and an emotion, such as compassion and empathy are emotions/feelings. Love in its archetypal essence is radiating from Source to the earth. It is as if your planet were being wrapped in a rose colored light and vibration. In a language which is accessible, Love desires to find expression through humanity, and to lift humanity out of its pain and suffering.

However, the expression of Love is not manifested by the means of having to follow the dictates of Love as a command. You will experience Love more as a welling up within you, say the way an artist feels a creative idea or inspiration welling up within them. Love is not a limiting, controlling factor, nor does Love wish to enslave anyone. Love is a divine expression which is unlimited, and Love for you as individuals is part of that Universal Love.

We wish to distinguish between how the Will of God has been thought of as a mandate, rules, or a set of conditions which are imposed upon an individual: and that which is a boundless and unlimited presence within you and brings your uniqueness as an individual forth, and is simultaneously in alignment with Deity and the principles contained within Love.

It is time for a higher understanding of Divine Will than the mandates religions have portrayed. Such a higher understanding might be portrayed as;

a Divine Will which honors your will,

and your will which honors Divinity and all life.

What is intrinsic to Love as universal law is the honoring of self and other, and for each individual to have his/her own relationship to and application of "honoring self and other and respect for all life". Simultaneously, your unique expression and relationship with these universal laws will never violate another, nor violate Divine Law. Principals that are universal laws, and have the flexibility to be personally interpreted, can not be spelled out as a rule of action.(see note)

There is magic within the essence of creation. This magic has some unspoken laws if you will. Unspoken because they can not be codified. In other words, there are principles contained within Love. Each is to find their own relationship with this Love, and give voice to it within themselves, as the Love that they are.

If one were to try to express them, they can only be hinted at in the most generic of phrases, such as "love thyself, and treat thy neighbor as thyself". Such a phrase embodies the ideal of Love, and the ideas that are contained within Love. Love honors self and other. Love does not violate another. If you honor and love yourself, and treat others as yourself, then there is both an individual application of the law, and that which is contained within Love as a universal principle is applied.

These principals of Love are part of that rose colored light essence which is beamed from Source, and is surrounding your planet. Source/Love seeks to heal the conflicts within the hearts and minds of humanity, and to lead humanity out of their suffering and into the boundless creativity and abundance of God and yourself.

The world wide embodiment and application of Love is nothing less than a miraculous transformation for humanity. At this point, it is still somewhat beyond humanity's imagination to understand the "intrinsic attributes of Deity" such as Love and Abundance. Humanity has only a symbolic representation of these "attributes of Deity". As an example, the Christian religion portrays a heaven where you are with your loved ones, and you never suffer or long for anything again. Or abundance portrayed as material wealth and power. Only direct experience can give anyone an understanding of the "intrinsic nature of Love". And it has always been a moment of liberation for the personality and soul.

Love is infinite. And you touch upon that infinity when you embrace Love. Such is the nature of Love. Attune to Love, and in your own unique way which is right for you at the time, give voice to Love. That is what is important.

Let us say our three customary Oms together, honoring and giving voice to Love...embodying Love... and allowing Love to transform us all.

(Note)

There are shifts implied in the above which at first might not be obvious. One of the distinctions in considering the Will of God in relationship to religion, is the difference between God's Will which is associated with God's Laws or commandments, and morals.

There is a difference between God's Will, which is given to us through His Laws, and human morals. There is an underlying assumption in a law that is given from God. That assumption is that God's laws and God's Will are absolute. God's laws are not open to human interpretation. As an example, if thou shall not kill is a commandment from God, then it can not be right to kill in some circumstances, and wrong in others. Humanity has multiple standards in relationship to taking another's life, and those standards are as varied as the culture, time, and geography which they spring from. Humanity's morality is completely open to interpretation.

Using the Bible as an example, God's laws and Christian morals are blended together. In the Bible, "the word of God" and the word of man have been woven together. Christianity has promoted the idea that the morals and laws contained in the Bible have the authority and backing of God. How can we distinguish the difference?

Lets continue with these ideas; God as Love, the Golden Rule, and war. Some of the principles contained within Love are beautifully expressed by the ideals which govern the United States: the right to liberty, justice, and the pursuit of happiness. The Golden Rules says, "treat thy neighbor as thyself". I believe it is safe to say that every human beings desires to live their life in the ways which are meaningful for them. No one wishes to be a slave, poor, desolate, hungry, or violated by another in any way. All wish to live a life of value and well being, which is uniquely defined and expressed by each.

Some of the parameters by which that unique expression are obtained are: Liberty, freedom in its many forms; Justice, a standard by which people conduct themselves in relationship to one other; Pursuit of Happiness, the following of one's individuality and joy. The following of the Golden Rule means, we honor other as we wish to be honored. It means we allow other(s) the same "rights to create their lives" as we wish in creating our lives. You can not follow these principles, and violate another at the same time.

The killing of another is the final and ultimate violation of another. If everyone obeyed the commandment, "thou shall not kill", humanity would have a completely different history, we would have developed more satisfactory and successful means for resolving conflicts, and the world would be in a far different place than it currently is. No one is violated by following this law, and everyone's life is enhanced. That has the ring of Love.

Morals are a human value system, and when imposed upon another may or can limit the rights of individuals. In the Bible there is language which states or suggests that homosexuality is a sin, or wrong before the eyes of God. If we apply the principles contained within Love and the Golden Rule to sexuality, how can homosexuality be wrong before God or anyone else?

A person's sexual preference is one's choice, one's freedom, and what brings them joy. A person's sexual preference harms or violates no one, as long as their sexuality is between consenting adults. If laws were written by homosexuals to limit or suppress heterosexual activity, heterosexuals could easily imagine how that would effect their freedom, relationships, and joy. The religious moral stance against homosexuality is a violation of the Golden Rule, and our intrinsic rights as individuals. Sexuality in whatever form that violates another, is a violation of Love.

Due to humanity's tendency toward violating another, and the lack of any personal contact with God, the principal of "honor other as self" was given in the form of a commandment in the hopes of giving humanity a guideline for their interactions with other(s).

A problem that has developed with the blending of God's laws and man's morality is that religions with their specific morals have become polarized against others who do not believe as they do. This is in direction opposition to one half of the equation, "honoring other". Any religion that sees their way as right and another as wrong, is not honoring other. This has led to much warring, hatred, discrimination, and a host of other undesirable conditions in the world. It is not following the principles contained within Love, or God's Will for creation.

The shift that is being implied in the context above is for individuals to have their own personal relationship with God, and take responsibility for manifesting the principles of Love within themselves. Love allows for our own individuality and expression as beings. Love actually demands that we as individuals be allowed to further our being, and not follow the dictates of another. Simultaneously, Love demands we give others the same individual right for freedom, growth, and expression as we desire for ourselves.

This is part of Love. This is part of God's Will in relationship to Love and His creation. Through your own personal contact with Deity, and the Divine Attribute of Love which is an intrinsic part of Deity, your individuality is honored and nurtured, and that same right is extended to all life. For all life is of Deity. As you come into more direct perception of Deity and Deity's nature, you realize who and what you are, and what all others are. Harmony and individuality are a natural outcome of this realization.

Love and Law

"By respecting law at the source of its power, we are given both insight and freedom."

Jesus stated,

"The laws which serve God are revealing and transformative, always in an upward direction. Law is to support life, and correct it where necessary. A society which uses law only as a platform for judgment will fall into peril. Law has no validity in itself except through the love in which it is rooted. Love's power does not replace nor override the workable laws of conduct. Love expresses the reasons for law, replacing enforcement with true enlightenment."

Parable Of The Tree

A young inquiring man asked the guru, "Are you God?" The guru smiled, and offered the following. There is a tall beautiful tree standing alone in a field. One day that tree is felled and taken to woodworker's shop. From that tree a bed, a dresser, and many other wooden objects are made. Each of these objects has enough consciousness to know themselves for what they are, and each knew they were made from the same tree. Eventually the bed and other pieces were bought, and they were separated. Now, none of the created pieces were the "tree", and yet quite literally each of the pieces were the wood of the tree. Is it not the same with your bodies? Each of you are unique, but each body is quite literally composed of the same elements. The dilemma that you face when considering God is, How can God remain whole, and be within you and everything else at the same time? How can the tree still be a "whole tree", and be all the created pieces simultaneously? This is something I can not tell you. I can only tell you it is so.

You Are Probably...

If you can start the day without caffeine or pep pills,

If you can be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when loved ones are too busy to give you time,

If you can overlook when people take things out on you, when through no fault of your own, something goes wrong,

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment,

If you can face the world without lies and deceit,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax without liquor,

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

If you can do all these things...

You are probably the family dog.
