New Year Intentions, Through and by Raymond Wolf Delving In, To Know Thyself, To Know Love, Through Raymond Wolf Mapping Our Selves, By Raymond Wolf A Quote from "Right Use of Will", By Ceanne DeRohan New Year Intentions, Through Raymond
The beginning of another year offers opportunities and choices as to how you wish to direct your life. What will you create for yourself in this up coming year? Who do you envision yourself becoming? What issues would you like to solve and bring resolution and completion to? Which directions would you like to continue that have been a fruitful study and a rewarding path for you? Take the time to discern what would serve you the most, to evaluate yourself and be willing to recreate yourself. View yourself from your soul level to see what possibilities are present...that which may be unperceived by you may become perceptible from your soul's point of view. Setting time aside for this process is an important and valuable function. It actually speeds your evolution along if you will, rather than feeling as if you are loosing your way. Attune to what you are calling your inner will or your inner intention, versus your external desires or impulses. An important distinction no matter what words we use to create that understanding. Sense and listen for your inner will, your heart's desire, or soul purpose, all phrases which hint at what we are talking about, and then support that inner will with your waking consciousness, with all the attributes you are as a personality. This is a significant undertaking, and by that I mean it has great significance for you. It does take some effort and discernment on your part, and teaching yourself to become aware of the differences between your inner will and the desires of your subpersonalities. When you desire for some new object in your life, what does that desire represent? Is it for something that would enrich your beingness? Is it something that you have longed for, or have a talent for that you have not been using which would enhance your expression as a being? The latter is something which is not easily satisfied by a trip to the shopping mall, or any of the common substitutes which you have grown accustomed to. It is significant, and it takes time and practice to become aware of the difference between this inner will and these outer desires, and to become aware of how an outer desire may be substituting for an inner longing/desire/will. And of course, releasing the judgment that you or any part of you is wrong or bad for any of these outer desires is important. Releasing judgment allows you to feel, and allowing yourself to feel is a natural means of communication between your soul, your heart, and your waking personality, ego self. At this point, I hope you know we value the outer ego, personality. But as we have said, it is a great benefit to the waking ego to become aware of the soul, to become more and more aware of who you are as a total being. The channeler has used the vertical axis to represent the relationship between waking ego, soul, monad and further, and the horizontal plane to represent the many subpersonalities the waking ego is comprised of. It is the awareness and blending of the two which greatly enhances your ability to be aware of yourself, and to be aware of why you are choosing what you are choosing to do. With that awareness, you can reevaluate yourself and choose again. You can become aware of your soul intention, and the lessons and opportunities that earthly circumstances are providing at any given time. The connection with soul and the understanding and perspective which it can bring will add a great deal of meaning and purpose to your every day existence. Indeed your every day existence takes on a great deal more meaning for you. Ah, I think that is our new year message: setting that intention, that connection. It can be a bit rough as you let go of patterns which have become entrenched in your day to day living. You may feel a little empty without your every day rituals, or the patterns which you are currently engaged in. We are not necessarily suggesting that these patterns need to change, but you may wish to become aware of which choices/activities may not be serving you at this time, and which choices/activities are serving you and how they can be enhanced. All this is of benefit to your life, and to the living of your life, and of course that fulfillment is of paramount importance, what can be called 'value fulfillment as a being'. Life is meant to be of value to you. It is not meant to all be drudgery and doing what you need to do in order to survive, and then recuperating from your work. There is meaning making, purpose, and conscious development in all this for you. Life would improve globally if more people were intrinsically happy with themselves and what they did with their lives. The happier and more gratified you are as beings, the more you radiate love and support for yourself and others, and this has tremendous healing effect for all. Edited channeling from January 2004
Delving In, To Know Thyself, To Know Love through Raymond
Sounding...Let us begin then knowing we have paved the way energetically, and with some humor, working with various aspects of your being. Quite the potpourri of subpersonalities as you give voice to the many aspects of yourself. Learning to discern and hear their voices is important, as well as the voices of others. Others which are not physically embodied: angels, masters, the elementals, and onward. These energies, focuses of consciousnesses direct their beingness toward you to communicate what they have experienced, and that which they desire to share and bring forth, as well as that which they have been entrusted to communicate as part of the grand scheme of things. To use the image of two pyramids, each represents a flow of energy, a structure of consciousness. One represents the foundation of your reality, and your forever intention reaching upward toward the pinnacle that is the single Source, from which all springs forth. The upside down pyramid represents Source and all the energies and consciousnesses that radiate downward to a focal point, (such as an individual or the planet). Both are true, both serve. Both are part of the great flow of cycling energy from Source to creation and back. It is Source's desire and intention for manifestation, and it is your becoming which includes your experiences, your eternal reaching upward, and your remembering and returning to Source. There are insights to be gained in every moment. As we have said, application is always the most difficult and time consuming aspect of esoteric work. There are many bodies of literature, esoteric works, which are available as tools for understanding and growth. That is what they are, wisdom and knowledge given freely for your growth and evolution. However, without your conscious participation, they remain words on a page, obtuse concepts. We need that love wisdom to filter down into your reality. That love wisdom needs to be realized, interpreted, and given form in the unique way each of you will do that. It is not meant to be uniform, that is, expressed the same way through each person. Love is too vast, too abundant and full of potential to wear a single mask, or to have a single expression. Like inspiration, love inspires. Through you, inspiration is manifested in a variety of forms which enriches and expands what you would call the archetype of Inspiration. You give form to inspiration in this way. How boring it would be if there was only one musical composition in the world. If there was only one song to be sung...one song to listen to. Rather you have everything from Mozart to the Beatles, and more. You have given voice to music, and music has given voice to the human heart and mind, as well as others. And so it is with each of your arts, and each of you.. Love is all of you, and by that I mean, each and everyone of you...and all that is contained within each of you. No part is to be left out in love. Love embraces and integrates all. Now that is quite a task, for as you know there is much that you would rather not embody or be. Those aspects of yourself that you would like to get rid of such as, "this part of me is unkind, this part is grotesque, this part is ugly". All that you judged against in one way or another as being unsavory, bad, cruel, mean, or vindictive. Now I am not saying vindictiveness or cruelty as an example, is to be accepted and embraced as a loving compassionate expression of yourself, or in relationship to another. Far from it. What is to be embraced are the feelings, emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and intentions...all that is behind such actions or responses. We are seeking to find a loving healing response to that which has been so wounded within you, so that your woundings and your pain will no longer need to manifest in such a manner as cruelty and vindictiveness to other. For such actions are reactions to your own suffering, to your own imprisonment, to your own limitations. That is what needs healing. Delving in to know thyself: to understand your pain...to understand where you have been wounded...to understand your reactions and your hatred for those woundings and how that is projected outward...to understand your defense systems which are built up around your vulnerabilities, protecting you, making sure you are not hurt, taken advantage of, controlled, or suppressed again, is of utmost significance. These are all major issues within the human psyche. The road to love has not been an easy one, and it has not been a clear one. For how to be empowered and love, to honor self and other, has been a difficult journey. There are ever so many layers of reflections. What you encounter in your human relationships is also a mirror to your individual and collective relationship to God. As an example, there is the relationship between parent and child, which has a reflection in the relationship between God and humanity. It is not a very pleasant thought to think of God as being mad at you. In your religions God is portrayed as carrying a pretty heavy hammer. It is not easy to think of God as grieving, as angry, as disenchanted, as sorry, or as infinitely loving without judgment. (All feelings which we experience as a child in relationship to our parents, and as parents in relationship to our children). Looking to your human relationships and seeing them as a mirror to your relationship with Source is a very valuable piece of work. In order to gain the connections and insights into these relationships, it takes embodying the feelings which you have not wished to feel, and which are difficult for you. In other words, it is a two fold, well it is many fold. It takes the understanding and illumination which is associated with the mental body, and the feeling side which embodies the feminine and the emotional. The emotional will help you grasp the light, and the light will help illuminate that which is hidden within your psyche...that which you don't wish to look at because of the pain and the suffering. However, you must look gently and compassionately. You can not take a two thousand watt light into a dark room where the creatures have not seen light for a long, long time and expect a warm response. They will scurry off. It is better to approach softly with a very low lit candle, and welcome them into your presence. What you encounter is yourself, and most of you are not prepared for that. Most are not prepared to own that which they have pushed away either because of judgment, or because it has been so painful. Welcoming these aspects back into your being is a grand first step. Becoming conscious of them and giving voice to them is a divine gift to yourself. With that let us say our three customary Oms. Om...Om...Om.. Edited channeling from January 2004
Mapping Our Selves by Raymond
There is a profound relationship between the waking ego and its many subpersonalities, and our will/feelings. The emotional body has been judged by us for carrying the painful feelings which we have experienced in relationship to our vulnerabilities, and the hopes and longings which coexist with our vulnerability. Attuning to our inner will attunes us to our beingness, and allows us to see the complex relationship between these inner intentions and their outer manifestations. It allows us to perceive the complexities of our psyche, and starts us on the road to healing. It is paramount to remember that our so called negative feelings are not wrong or bad, and the parts of us that hold those feelings such as the wounded child, are not wrong or bad. However, because these feelings feel bad, our tendency is to judge them and move away from them, pushing them out of our psyche and abandoning them so we won't ever have to experience them again. No one wants to experience pain. It is natural to move toward joy, and it feels good when we move away from pain. However, what we loose is the part of us that is holding that pain, which eventually means we loose a part of us that knows how to love. There is a part of us that develops as a defense system to keep us safe in response to our wounded vulnerability. There is another part of us which will hold the feelings of hatred for being vulnerable. This part might manifest within us as an grumpy old man who hates children, or as a tough guy who won't ever be caught being vulnerable. Another part of us loves children and all that they symbolize and embody for us such as our innocence, playfulness, and joy. Consequently we judge the personification of us which holds the unsavory feelings toward children and being vulnerable. Our grumpy old man holds the bitterness of life's disappointments and his resentment for his lost joy. His anger is then projected out at the children, his anger at the loss of his own playfulness and ability to enjoy life. Because these personifications are usually unconscious and disowned by us, they are projected outward where they will be mirrored in our relationships with others. Once again these feelings are not wrong or bad, they are telling us how it feels to be hurt. These parts of us hold our responses and defense systems. Attuning to our inner will, our core intentions, begins the process of seeing how we have been impacted, and the myriad of selves that have developed in response. This opens the door for healing, for reclaiming that which we have lost, for creating new scripts, and thus new responses. This gives us the conscious opportunity to begin to create in greater alignment with the life we envision living, our inner will, our heart's desires. On a metaphysical level, I feel these relationships are beautifully and insightfully expressed in "Right Use of Will, Healing and Evolving the Emotional Body" received by Ceanne DeRohan.
A quote from "Right Use of Will": Received by Ceanne DeRohan
"The unconditional Love of the Spirit is understood by many on Earth at present. There is another energy, though, that is also part of the Divine Creation, which has not yet been fully understood - the Divine Will. The Will expresses as feelings. The Spirit and the Will are partners in the Body and must find their balance in the Heart. "Most people on Earth have made a separation between the Spirit and the Will. They have felt their own Will was not acceptable; that to love the way God loves, they must eliminate their own feelings and opinions and do what they have imagined is the Will of God. An understanding is needed here: the will of God is not in opposition to the will of the individual. "Because of the separation that has been made in the consciousness of so many, the Will has been excluded for a long time from participating in the evolvement of the Spirit and the evolvement of the individual Will. It is now time for each Spirit to recognize, accept and evolve this other part of itself. Each Spirit is part of the Divine Consciousness and each individual Will is part of the Divine Will. Each person must take responsibility for his/her complete being, and not for only a part of it. "The Spirit must accept its own will and evolve it in a loving way rather than a punitive, non-accepting or unloving one. The Individual Will expresses itself as feelings. When the Individual Will feels the loving acceptance of its own Spirit, it cannot fail to come into alignment with the Divine Will".
