damnum absque injuria [translation] I'm sitting in the theatre watching Will Smith in his new film, The Pursuit of Happyness. I thought I'd be seeing something different from Apocolypto last week, but no. It's basically the same movie. Rudy Youngblood runs through the busy jungle of South America to make it back to his family before a flood, his Mayan pursuers, and ...well, one more thing, catches up to him. Will Smith spends a greater part of his movie running through San Francisco trying to sell his bone scanners, make it to his intern job on time, and get to the homeless shelter by 5 before it closes. Both movies are huge adrenaline rushes. Ok, there is no beefy Mayan captain trying to spear Will in the concrete jungle.Well, no beefy Mayan that we see, at least.
