I'd also wondered if Carnival of Souls had come out before
Night of the Living Dead. Turns out it did, about six years
before. Neat.
Of course, the only reason we'd rented Carnival of Souls was
due to the homage in Romero's recent Land of the Dead.
Still haven't found a copy of Sergeant York,
though.
