| After having an SS and a Classic, I was really interested in driving a 9C1 police package. In addition they are much cheaper than an SS and easy to find if you know what your looking for. |

I absolutely wanted the 9C1 black rally type wheel as well as the 5.7 litre (350 ci) V-8. The 5.7 is the motor to have...it is rated at 260 HP and roughly 330 lb/ft torque. Other nice options on the 9C1 are front and rear sway bars, disk brakes all the way around, power steering-oil and tranny coolers. Some were optioned with a posi rear end (G80) however mine wasn't.
The mods I have performed are listed above. However my next purchase will be tires and I am fond of how 305's look on a widened 9C1 wheel.
