In my opinion, the 67-72 body style of Chevrolet/GMC truck is one of the most aesthetically pleasing ever built. Whether it's a short bed step side or long bed fleet side, with the right combination of parts, these trucks look great. Not to mention, some of them came with Big Block power. So it's easy to see why so many choose this body style to restore and trick out.

Here are the ones I have owned. Visit Heart Transplant to see my 71 project.

Below is my 67 GMC that I bought several years ago. This was my first 67-72 truck. It happened to be the coolest one I owned. The picture isn't that good but the truck had a great paint job. It had a 383 small block with posi and a built T350. Tires were 295/50's all the way around and 15X10 western bullets. I really liked the stance of the truck from all perspectives...this had to be one of my favorite trucks.

Unfortunately I couldn't drive it year round so I opted to buy a daily driver which led me to a 72 3/4 ton with a factory big block 402. It was blue however I ended up having the truck rebuilt to include a new 396 and turbo 400 along with new paint . The truck was originally blue with blue interior however it was repainted yellow in hopes of matching my 61 Chevy stepside. Below is a pic of the fresh 396.
