Research, Content Development, Editorial

Finding Good Work intranet web site in development. Wrote content, designed navigation scheme.

Project Management for Web Developers 8-hour course. Created and delivered pilot workshop.

Autonomous Maintenance training video. Produced video, directed three location shoots.

Gayzette newsletter for division of the American Planning Association. Research, write,edit articles.

Software recommendation report. Researched, tested, analyzed, and reported on twelve data-collection and analysis software packages for usability testing.

OEE Toolkit calculation software for manufacturing. Organized and edited all documentation; wrote Quick Card, highlight text, glossary, user instructions, installation and administrator instructions.

KanFlow calculation software for manufacturing. Wrote script for ScreenCam product demo, created screen captures, and recommended organization for user manual.

Putting Performance Measurement to Work and Shopfloor Learning Assessment multimedia CDs. Restructured documentation; wrote "Letter to Customer," learning objectives, and installation procedures.

Marine Coastal Estuaries presentation. Condensed, combined, and organized lecture notes and textbook article; created and animated diagrams; captured and compressed photographs.

Project Management

Multimedia and software. Managed content development, led cross-functional team, maintained schedules. Brought four major software and multimedia products to market within 24 months.

Training video. Co-directed and produced 2-hour, 8-installment video. Created and managed budget and schedule, coordinated five locations, created system for post-production tape-logging and archiving.

User Interface Testing

Multimedia and software. Manually tested and proofed user interfaces for four products.

Training and Technical Support

Multimedia and software. Trained six-person sales team in features, benefits. Delivered basic telephone technical support to customers.

Computerized inventory control system. Developed training program to introduce bookstore employees to database queries, Boolean searches, and computerized inventory control system.

Customer service skills. Trained 40 new employees quarterly in customer service skills, including interviewing for information and hand-selling books.

Graphic Design for Print and Presentation

Four outdoor guidebooks, one academic title. Designed text including figures, tables, and maps.

Guidebook covers and entire publisher's catalog. Designed, created mechanicals.

Newsletters for professional and nonprofit organizations. Designed, laid out articles.

PowerPoint slide shows. Designed templates; created links and transitions; embedded Word, Excel, and JPEG files
