On all other nights, we eat either leavened bread or matzah;
on this night-- only matzah.
Hoch rammey roghpu'bogh Soj matzah joq wISop.
'a ramvam matzah neH wISop.
On all other nights, we eat all kinds of herbs;
on this night we especially eat bitter herbs.
Hoch rammey naH Sar DISop.
'a ramvam naH wIb'e' DISop.
On all other nights, we do not dip herbs at all;
on this night we dip them twice.
Hoch rammey naH DIHaHbe'.
'a ramvam cha'logh DIHaH.
On all other nights we eat in an ordinary manner;
tonight we dine with special ceremony.
