Vuvuzela

This started as a comment to Gary McGath's Vuvuzela instafilk.
Listen to them -- the children of the bleachers. What music they make!

I bought her a vuvuzela
For to cheer her team ahead.
And whether it helped them I could not say
But I learned too soon that I could not stay
Close to the sound of the vuvuze-e-la,
Close to the sound of the vuvuze-e-la.

It gave out a terrible moan as from under the sea,
B-flat below middle C.
And in the stadium all around
Hundreds of thousands were making that sound,
The sound of the terrible moan of the vuvuze-e-la.
The sound of the terrible moan of the vuvuze-e-la.

And when the wind, the wind blows under C,
B-flat below middle C,
My senses soon take leave of me
And I think, "Give up! There'll always be
Players of more of the sound of the vuvuzela,
Players of more of the sound of the vuvuze-e-e-ela."
