Morning Has Splattered

I crawled out of bed at the crack of dawn *
'Cause the kitty cat was yowling "I'm starving! Come on!"
I staggered down the stairs and I fed her from the can **
Then I gave her her kibble, according to plan... ***

    But the cat threw up all over the floor, ****
    And when I cleaned it up, she did it once more, *****
    Oh yes, the cat threw up. She just couldn't keep it down.

Now, the vet says it's normal for a cat to spew
Maybe once in a month, it's just a thing they do.
Still I have to wonder, as I clean up the mess,
If a moggy who's spayed can have PMS...

    Because the cat threw up ...
