Over the past fifteen years I’ve played over a thousand shows, parties, and recording sessions with hundreds of different musicians and bands. Currently I perform both with my own bands (San Francisco indie-acoustic trio Love, Isabel, and Marin County fuzz-rock The Outlets), and as a freelance bassist for hire.
As a freelance bassist, I’ve played gigs ranging from musical theater to private parties, from cocktail jazz to rock concerts. I perform on both electric and upright bass. Additionally, I am an accomplished sight reader and session player for recording projects.
A few of the notable musicians I’ve performed with include: Phil Mattson, Drew Gasparini, Billy Harper, Sal Santana, Mel Martin, Mighty Tiny, Andy McGhee, Chip Tingle, and Harold Jones.
Some of the venues I’ve played include Carnegie Hall, Great American Music Hall, Yoshi’s Jazz Club, The Rocket Room, Hotel Utah, Middle East, Yet-Wah, Berklee Performance Center, The Sleeping Lady, Grant and Green, and Harper’s Ferry.
