Anyway, one of them is access to super-exclusive news and info for us especially geeky fan-girls. But in order to access said super-exclusive news, one must actually, oh I don't know, visit the website once in a while? The only reason I managed to catch a couple shows on this summer's acoustic tour is because I found out about it the day before tickets went on sale via one of my random, once-every-few-months visits to the site. Tonight I just learned what was announced several days ago: Hanson is wrapping up their tour back here in good old NYC, at Carnegie frickin' Hall, no less! Rejoice! My tardiness has, for once, not consigned me to endless nights of sobbing disappointment, because tickets are still available! As you may remember, or may be desperately trying to forget, I was present at the first concert of this tour, so this lends a nice symmetry to it all. Though being late to the party as I am, I've missed the best seats, which are still more than twice the price of the earlier concerts, and it's the same night we had tentatively scheduled to hold a benefit for my lil' theatre company--but that's right out, cuz my boys are in town.
