spit toward a button-shaped cloud

by d.b. hambling

skyboxy blue-tipped the yellowday row-rows,
alarming fair gelsie, who murmured, "too far..."
too late! the grandoley lit firey, ka-woomph!
upending the neighboring mayorlee's car.
then boosh!
in a trince she was spit past the grounders,
a skoonch past the trellice toward a button-shaped cloud.

ho-wow! ho-wow!
look at skyboxy now!

then all one could see was her pinky-toned underbelly,
smiling like sweet rainbowed runny stuff...

"yum,"
sputtered lonnie,
knee-deep in mud,
"mm-yum."
