As luck would have it, the Network Gods pronounced this week "90210 Extravaganza Week" and denied the post-pubescent television audience their weekly dose of titillation and temptation, a la Melrose Place.
I consoled myself with an hour of 90210, Freshman Dorm and 2000 Malibu Road but it just was not the same. Thankfully, Melrose Place will return next week with an all-new episode.

Sandy goes out for an "innocent" date with Mr. Right, but discovers he is a little too eager for the second date, and the third, and the fourth, ad nauseum.
Think of it as Fatal Attraction meets Beverly Hills 90210. . .
A friend of mine from L.A. dropped by this weekend so we *had* to go to the Gap. Surprise, surprise! Behind the cash register was a poster, at least 3 metres high, of the Melrose Place crew decked out in sporty Gap duds.
According to the checkout spooge, the poster represents the beginning of a Gap/Melrose Place cross-marketing plan. You will see more of the Gap in Melrose Place, and vice versa in the future.
I never would have guessed . . .
Ya, so I was bored last night and watched 90210. It was the episode when Dylan and Brenda bump nasties for the first
time. Brenda fears she is pregnant as a result, and tries the home pregnancy test. (Is it just me, or is "home pregnancy test" a poor name? You are not testing the damn house.) The test is inconclusive so Brenda visits a gynecologist.
Of course, the "Clinic" she goes to is the same "Womens Medical Arts Centre" that was an "Abortion Clinic" in Melrose Place. Same shot, same non-possessive 'Womens'. . .
