This rare original black and white photograph shows an Asymetrix tester pondering the true way to exorcise bugs from a Windows application. The clock, computer and other technical instruments on the tester's left represent precision, order and engineering excellence; the relief of the Aboriginal mask on the tester's right represents chaos and is used by the tester to frighten away the spirits that cause irreproducible bugs.
The photons used in this picture were provided by Puget Sound Power and Light. After being carefully reflected by the model and various inanimate objects the photons were captured using a handheld Nikon FM-2 camera loaded with Kodak film.
The model is Chris Osburn. He is wearing a Ralph Lauren sweater over a relaxed T from Calvin Klein. His glasses are a special high-impact, lightweight, chromatically corrected design by Leica. The model's hair and beard are by Vidal Sassoon, his makeup courtesy of L'oreal--"because he's worth it". Chris is wearing underwear from Victoria's Secret.
