While I have lived in Northern Virginia longer than any other place, I still consider myself a New Englander. I grew up in central New Hampshire and the Red Sox became part of my fabric. I wove my love of baseball with a love of numbers, something which eventually led me to donning the mantle of statistorian. Fortunately, my wife also likes baseball and we have been members of the Society for American Research for more than 20 years. Our two cats are neutral on this subject.
My other love is photography, as should be obvious from this site.
