Amy Hansen photo and title

Welcome.

My job is to investigate every day mysteries. Where do bugs go? How do refrigerators work?

I get to ask lots of questions and read a lot, then I write.

I also get to visit classrooms and libraries and talk to kids about what I found out — and how I found it out.

It is a very cool job. Let me know what you think.  Contact

Amy at MALS conference
Here I am at the Maryland Association of Library Specialists (MALS), Oct. 2011 in Ocean City, Maryland. I am standing with Marge Schaffer, MALS conference organizer. Notice her black-eyed susan jewelery. MALS gives out the Black-eyed Susan Award.

Use Bugsicles in your classroom. I've started a list that shows the national and state curriculum alignment of this book.
