Inside the Community Cottage there was still some work to be done.

Over the Summer Buster donated a collection of Wilkenson sandstone, so we had a work party...

...and build some stairs!

The Fall Interior Design class at the neighboring Seattle Art Institute did some design work for us.

They created a group of interior layouts, design colours, movable furnature for the Community Cottage.

We got an enthusiastic presentation at the end of the school quarter and a book of their design work. Thanks!

Volunteers of local chapter of E Clampus Vitis spent a couple of weekends building our ADA entry.

They were also able to get us started on the interior sheetrock.

They got to start with the bathroom. That mirror would be one of the last original interior pieces for this house.

...for this years annual Gardener Gathering of the Belltown P-Patch.

The solar fountain was going full force this Spring and that new entryway looks great from the P-Patch entry.

The P-Patch saw the installation of a new fence.

Local artist Kevin Spitzer was honored at the unveiling of the new fence.

Part of Growing Vine Street at the 81 Vine Building is looking good a year after the plantings were completed.

The Gesterning Cistern has been busy capturing roof water...

...and running it out into the basins and watering the landscaping for days after the rains.

Down at the Community Cottage we got the insulation installed.

and the sheet rock is delivered and ready for hanging.

We had some runoff issues with water from the parking lot across the alley getting into the site.

Work on the Cistern Steps, part of Growing Vine Street, kicked off during the Summer.

Cistern Steps! Once the sidewalks are poured and the handrails are installed in January we can take down the fences.

Back at the Community Cottage the walls are up and original floors have been refinished.

We are looking forward to putting some volunteers to work this Spring painting the interior.
