These pictures were taken on the way back to Seattle. The first 4 are on the road between Alderpoint and Zenia just to the northeast of Garberville in CA. Between Zenia and Ruth, the next town north, there were several sections of dirt. While none of them were longer than 1/3 of a mile, three of them were greasy, wet clay. I didn't have traction so much as I had some vague form of directional momentum. It would not have been fun on a solo bike!

This picture is looking west from FS 1, still in CA. I would have taken more, but it was too cold!

These two pictures are between Happy Camp in CA and O'Brien in Oregon.

These are from the Griffeth Park Sidecar rally. There were probably 200 rigs and maybe 2,000 people looking at them over the course of the day. The only "celeb" I saw was Reg Pridmore who used to race sidecars too, doncha know?

There was quite a collection of rigs that came and went on Sunday. Some had camped out, others stayed at a local hotel while others simply drove over for the day.

There was usually a crowd around the Summit with lots of people asking questions. There were even some Harley riders who wanted to know if they could get an EZS for their bike...

Here is the organizer, Doug Bingham.

At the end of the day (~2:00 PM), names were drawn from the registration and prizes were given away. I won a T-shirt from x. Doug persisted in using the megaphone even though I think his voice was louder without it.
