I support privately-controlled privacy. Obtain a copy of my PGP public key to send me an encoded message. PGP uses the RSA public key algorithm for key management, and does its large-scale en-/decryption using the IDEA symmetric algorithm. PGP will make your private data sufficiently difficult to decode that most governments won't bother with it.
